There are several variations of the system, but ZoneSafe generally works by creating an adjustable 360-degree detection zone around hazards. An antenna is fitted to workplace vehicles and pedestrians are assigned tags as part of their PPE. When a tagged person enters the detection zone, an audio/visual/vibration alarm is raised to alert both the driver and pedestrian of the presence of risk so that they may stop their activity and avoid collision.
